Passages Rewritten for Youth Workers
Quite a few years ago, back when blogs were a thing, Marko posted one of these re-written scripture passages. The idea had been sparked interacting with some weary youth workers, and was subsequently reading Psalm 23. The response to that blog post was super positive; so he wrote a handful more.
He thought it might be a helpful little encouragement for you to have on your phone, or on your laptop. He hope these leave you feeling seen. So, he added a few lines about what he’d like you to notice, as well as a prayer for or with you. No need to wonder if this is aberrant or abhorrent in some sort of “don’t change a jot or tittle” sort of way. Just think of this as commentary, or an imaginative doodle alongside God’s Word.
