TopicChaos, Comfort, Order, Perspective
Bible Verse(s)Psalm 23: 1-4
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
If you were a sheep in the flock the movement of from one field to the next would likely seem like a disorderly, chaotic, mess.
But when you shift your perspective to that of the shepherd, you can see planning, order, and care.
If the Lord is your shepherd... he is leading you to green pastures, even when you are stressed out or amid the chaos.
1. When was a time things felt completely out of control? What happened?
2. Would you rather be the sheep or the shepherd?
3. What are some "green pastures" you need Jesus to lead you to right now?
