Three years ago we had an idea. What if we bring women in youth ministry together, to celebrate life in ministry, to share, support, and stand together?
And it was awesome.
From March 28-30, 2017 we will bring women from all over the country together again for the third Women in Youth Ministry Campference (WYMC). This year, we’re coming to the Midwest, to Country Lake in Underwood, Indiana, easily accessible from basically everywhere.
If you’ve been to WYMC before, you know how powerful it is to spend three days with women like you, women who get it. If you’ve never been, this is the place to relax, learn, make new friends, laugh, have a whole lotta fun, and grow.
The Women in Youth Ministry Campference (“campference,” by the way = the best combination of camp + conference) brings women from all denominations and walks of life together, bounded by our love for youth ministry. We’ll learn together, worship together, pray together. We’ll explore, find rest and relaxation, find whole new levels of silliness. We’ll have each other’s backs, because we’re a community. We’re women in youth ministry and you belong with us.
Our word this year is “PROMPT”. A prompt is something that moves you into action. What is prompting us? Who is prompting us? And how prompt are we to respond? We’re inviting you to meditate on this word with us, as we prepare for March 2017.
We can’t wait.
April Diaz and Rachel Blom
P.S. Maybe you could register…promptly? 🙂 And promptly invite your friends?
