Margie has over 20 years of experience in part-time and full-time ministry settings with students in grades six through twelve. After discerning her call, Margie left her first career as a teacher and attained her Master’s degree in Christian Practice from Duke Divinity School. She is currently serving in a growing mid-size church in Belmont North Carolina, just south of Charlotte. Margie is enthusiastic about helping students grow to become Disciples and confident leaders in the church. As a seasoned leader in ministry, Margie has witnessed the lasting benefits that longevity can offer in implementing, sustaining and growing ministry programs.

Joel has worked with youth and young adults for 17 years in various ministry settings. He currently serves as a Youth and Young Adult Pastor within an Evangelical Anabaptist congregation located in north central Indiana. Joel has developed youth ministries within both urban and rural contexts, serving smaller church plants or larger well-established congregations. Joel uses his Advanced Coaching Certification to partner with youth ministry volunteers, ministry leaders, and marketplace professionals toward the goal of personal transformation and success. Joel and his wife Jackie have four young kids who like to keep life interesting. Joel is a committed Detroit Tigers fan and audiophile.

Robb has served in youth and campus ministry for over 20 years and it only took him 7 years to figure out he could actually get paid to do that. So he entered into full time ministry. Along the way he has worked in a variety of churches and ministries from coast to coast and is currently serving as a NextGen Pastor in Portland, OR. He is married to his amazing wife and partner in ministry Amy and they have two kids who keep them on their toes.

Sam likes to encourage leaders to look for ways to bring others alongside in their ministry dreams and vision. Leadership is so much more than being a “front person.” Effective leadership fosters more leadership from others.
Sam has served in professional youth ministry for over 35 years. He currently is the youth and young adult ministry resource person for the United Methodist Churches in the North Georgia Conference, serving on staff for the Conference Office. During Sam’s years of ministry he has served at medium and large congregations as an ordained clergy, spoken at youth ministry conferences and retreats, written published youth ministry curriculum, written numerous youth ministry books (the most recent being The Youth Cartel’s One Body: Integrating Teenagers into the Life of Your Church, and continues to coach youth ministry leaders weekly.
Sam is married, has two adult children, loves cooking, music, mountain biking, and kayaking.
Kevin is a twenty year student ministry veteran and is currently the 5th-8th Grade Pastor at Christ Chapel Bible Church, overseeing preteen ministry across three campuses. Kevin loves helping leaders become healthy by leading from their strengths and personal/ministry values. Kevin and wife Kara are trying to keep up with their young son, Knox. Behind family and ministry, Kevin’s third love is BBQ and is always up for some smoked meat.

Shawn has served in youth ministry for over 18 years. He has his certification in youth ministry from the United Methodist Church and has worked in small to mid-size churches, as the United Methodist district youth coordinator, and as the Harvest of Hope Director (short-term mission camp) for the Society of St. Andrew. Shawn is married to Nikki and they have two daughters.

For almost 30 years Kerry (or K-Ray as his friends call him) has been living out his calling for student ministry; working with high schoolers and middle schoolers as a student pastor, itinerate youth speaker, consulting and mentoring youth workers in churches of various sizes and denominations, educating parents on teenage development, and training volunteers. Kerry is a graduate from Beeson Divinity School with a Masters in Divinity. He and his family currently reside in Cincinnati, OH where he serves as a Director of Student Ministries.

Charlie has worked with students for nearly 20 years in educational and ministry settings. For the last 10 years, Charlie has had the privilege of serving as the middle school youth minister in a thriving Methodist church within a tight community in the Metro Atlanta area. During her time in ministry, Charlie has coached adult volunteers to lead small groups of middle school teens, organized a large middle school ministry worship experience, and led a school-based ministry program. Charlie’s extensive experience with students and families along with her Advance Coaching Certification gives her a unique approach to ministry. Charlie lives with her wildly talented husband Eric and her sometimes snarky but always lovable teenage daughter.
