In the Jewish Scriptures, the most respected name for God is Yahweh, and the word itself is connected to the verb “to be.” More so, many rabbis point out that the spelling of the name of God captures a sense of “God was, God is, and God will be.” In other words, this suggests that God isn’t so much as “outside of time,” but instead is woven throughout the very fabric of time itself.
Psychology tells us that all three dimensions of time – past, present, and future – are essential for our personal growth and development, yet often we find ourselves gravitating towards one dimension naturally. In Viva! Time, your group will explore these dimensions and discuss how we can deepen our faith and relationship with God through each aspect of time.
Specifically, we will look at the following:
Week 1: Past
Week 2: Present
Week 3: Future
Week 4: Eternity
Includes 4 lessons, instructions, and two slide templates for PowerPoint, Keynote, MediaShout, ProPresenter or another display system.
