Description
If you think classics like Ker-Plunk™ and Candy Land™ are just for the Sunday school supply closet, think again. Steve Case has taken childhood favorites like these and transformed them into exciting crowd-breakers and main events that can lead to transformative conversations about life and faith. Each of these 24 games includes set-up instructions, a supply list, and rules of play; but more importantly each comes with a set of discussion questions to take players beyond the laughter and fun and into deeper truths.

I just received this today, so I haven’t played one yet. I am imagining Bigger Badder Board Games as the theme for our games this summer. I’ve read a few chapters and the instructions are thorough, complete with supply lists and variations for more extreme fun.
I’ve been doing youth ministry for a long time and game ideas are oftentimes the hardest part for me, so this book was a welcome sight in my library.

We have loved doing a few of these games, and look forward to constructing and introducing more in the fall!
