Youth Pastor

Great church just 30 minutes from Syracuse, NY is searching for their next Student Ministries Pastor.

We’re all about evangelism and discipleship. At the very center of everything we do is knowing God in a personal way and glorifying Him through understanding His Word, obeying His will, and walking in His ways.

The purpose of our youth ministry is about providing leadership, discipleship, and direction for the Teens of our area. The primary focus should be on integrating teens from the surrounding communities into the youth ministry. The Student Ministries Pastor will also be responsible for building and equipping an effective adult leadership team, producing excellent group experiences, and leading strong on the weekend.

Your first year will concentrate on getting to know the current team of leaders and recruiting, training and expanding that team.  You’ll be working to find ways to get the church more involved in the local schools.

As with any student ministries role, you’ll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple daily interruptions. It is essential for this role to balance daily responsibilities while maintaining a high level of concentration and the ability to get things done while maintaining strong Godly character.

Our community has a population of about 20,000 and is a great place to raise a family. Living in here offers residents a suburban feel in a smaller town setting. There are a lot of restaurants and parks, and our public schools are of high quality.

Sound like the type of community and church you’d love to serve in? We’d love to have you start by submitting your resume and profile. We’re working with Chemistry Staffing on our search, so please start your application here:
