Westminster EPC in Bluefield, West Virginia is seeking a full-time Youth Minister.
Bluefield is a mountain town in southern West Virginia. At this link, you can see a video that captures the essence Bluefield fairly accurately: https://www.facebook.com/BluefieldCED/videos/187760375799202/
Westminster has always placed a high priority on Youth Ministry; therefore, the new Youth Minister will find the program to have good congregational support, resources, and facilities. Currently, we have a group of 20-30 middle school youth and another 10-15 high school students. We also have a considerable number of grade-schoolers that we hope to see move into the youth program in the coming years. We desire a Youth Minister who will nurture our own youth, while attempting to reach into the local community to impact others beyond our church family.
We are a multi-generational church, on the conservative side of the theological spectrum, with a “blended” worship service that is neither very traditional nor very contemporary. There is a sense among our people that God is at work in our church body, and we are excited to walk with Him down the path He has charted for us. Westminster is a warm and loving church that will heartily embrace a new Youth Minister (and his/her family if applicable), and we are praying for that person even now.
