JOB TITLE:  Associate Director of Student Ministries

Assists the Director of Student Ministries in planning and facilitating a program that leads students, grade 6 – college, into a deeper relationship with God.




  • Assist Director in all student ministry
  • Assist leading and planning events for the college ministry with Director and Associate Pastor.
  • Assist with worship and teaching Wednesday evenings alongside the Director.
  • Assist in the facilitation of Student Ministry Sunday school classes.
  • Assist in Sunday evening college small group ministry.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings on Monday morning.
  • Assist planning and executing all student retreats and
  • Assist with and participate in all student Mission Trips.
  • Be available to take charge when the Director is on vacation, ill or otherwise absent.
  • Attend at least one weekly worship service on Sunday morning.




The Associate Director is under the direct supervision of the Director of Student Ministries.





Skill:                                  Must like students – have a strong background with student activities, church leadership, Bible study and Christian education. Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to use computer and give effective presentations.  Ability to plan and make good decisions regarding the student programs at the church.  Ability to work effectively with the Director of Student Ministries.


Education:                     At least a High School education – college preferred



Experience:                 Some experience working with students



Communication:          Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to communicate effectively and possess good motivational and persuasive skill.


Physical Requirements:

While performing duties of this job, the individual is required to be able to carry and hold objects. Ability to run and play games with students. Individual must be able to talk to volunteers and students and communicate properly. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, distant vision and peripheral vision.


Others:                     Must possess good organizational skills and give effective






Travel:                   There will be required travel with the student ministry to  destinations within the Tulsa metropolitan area as well as on extended trips both domestic and international. There will also be required travel for college visits to nearby schools that students attend.


Must have a valid Oklahoma Drivers license


Have SPC training or be willing to take CPR training Employment will be contingent upon background check

Work Hours:         Full-time – M-T 8am-5pm (with flexibility in hours) as well as Wednesday evenings, Sunday morning worship & study and Sunday evening activities.
