Viva la revolución

Live the revolution. Start a revolution. The revolution life. My Spanish is pretty horrible. But that little phrase has been on my mind lately. Here's what I know. There is a revolution beginning in youth ministry.

  • New voices are emerging.
  • New ideas are gaining traction.
  • New hopes for the future of our profession are springing up.
  • New types of resources are being developed.
  • New philosophies are emerging.

Unlike a political revolution this one isn't violent, it's collaborative. We're excited to be a part of something which just started and have hopes will have big impact on the youth ministry world. This summer we worked with Barefoot to help relaunch Slant33. There's a new group of contributors and a new batch of practical questions designed to help you (and your ministry team) wrestle through some of the stuff we all face. Each slant is a moderated question with 3 different slants on the question. The idea is to show that there is more than one way to look at everything and our hope is that it will kick off lots of discussion. Here's a link to check it out.Viva la revolución.
