A Christmas Gift for You

Ho, ho, ho! We here at The Youth Cartel sure do love youth workers. And one
of the many reasons for that is how youth workers so regularly and
meaningfully follow the incarnational example of Jesus, “moving into the
neighborhood” (to quote John 1:14 from The Message) to connect with real
teenagers.

We have a small Christmas gift for you—a video we hope will encourage and
challenge you. We created this for the TENx10 Collaboration, an effort we
want to make sure you know about. Spearheaded by the Fuller Youth
Institute, TENx10 has about 100 partner organizations across all
denominational and racial lines. At its heart, TENx10’s mission is to “make
faith matter more for ten million teenagers within ten years.” There are some
excellent free resources (training and other stuff) already on the TENx10 site,
with more to come. But we’d encourage you to start by taking this short
assessment quiz, which will provide you a pathway to engage with TENx10
resources in a way that more directly connects with your unique ministry
needs.
