Title: Student Ministry Worship Leader

 

Position Purpose: The Worship Leader creates an environment of worship for students.

 

Reports To: Director of Student Ministry

 

PT position- 20 hours per week with Wednesdays evenings (CREW) and student band practices.

Works closely with: Director of Student Ministries, Crew Ministry Intern, the Family Ministry staff, and the Director of Music.

Primary Responsibilities: 5 to 7 responsibilities that take 80% of your time.

  • Lead the Crew Student Worship band through practice, spiritual growth, and Crew Wednesday service.

  • Create a schedule utilizing Planning Center to schedule the worship order including song choices and role assignments (for band and production team).

  • Create a worship environment that is desirable for students to attend.

  • Works with the Director of Music to establish and maintain an environment of growth and development for the student worship team.

  • Collaborating with ministry leaders and speakers to organize slides and videos needed for worship with Propresenter 7.

  • Help create videos for student ministry.

  • Work with LINC for events such as SYATP and STORM.

 

Requirements: 

Fun, extroverted with ability to organize teams and a high level of detail. Able to provide excellent experiences to reach ONE more. Completion of PLACE assessment.

 

Qualifications:

Active member of Pathway Church

Actively involved with Pathway Church Music Ministry on a monthly basis

Experience working with teams

Current Student, College graduate or equivalent with emphasis in arts

Working knowledge of google docs and google sheets

Social Media experience
