Director of High School Ministry

Calvary Church of Souderton, PA, is in search of a Director of High School Ministry.  They are looking for someone to guide students into a growing relationship with Jesus, with one of their main objectives to teach and pastor students, volunteers, and families with teens. Calvary Church wants to create safe environments where students are equipped to live out their faith in the real world. Furthermore, they desire this person to work within the community to continue building bridges for the students and church.

What you’ll be doing:

• Pastoring High School student ministries’ spiritual health, caring for leaders, student families, and overall connecting with students.

• Mentoring leaders

• Implementing programs and ministries

• Teaching and preaching

• Team support for the ministry volunteers as well as other church ministries

Skills you’ll need:

• Teaching ability - must be a charismatic speaker

• Collaborative and creative

• Hard-working, fun, positive, team player

• Humble/teachable

• Tech-savvy

• High emotional intelligence

• Highly organized

Calvary Church is a 75-year-old non-denominational church located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. Approximately 3,000 adults, students, and children attend our two campuses. Souderton is close to major cities, the Jersey Shore, and the mountains (Poconos) as well. We are close to Philadelphia as well as larger suburban towns like King of Prussia, Doylestown, and Montgomeryville. There are plenty of options to get involved in the local communities, and the surrounding areas have a strong sense of community and are very welcoming.
