Youth Leader/Youth Pastor

Position: Part Time Youth Pastor/Youth Leader-flexible hours, approximately 10-15 hours/week, Wednesday evenings required. Open to sharing time with another church.
Pay is negotiable based on ability, excitement, and experience working with youth!
This is a newly created position, with opportunity for someone to really make a difference with our youth and families! We are specifically looking for someone with new ideas and lots of energy to re-engage our youth (and families) to lead Christ-filled lives. Candidate needs to be a motivated, goal-oriented, organized and self-driven individual who relates well to youth. Background check required. We are a church that has been vibrant in the past, and we want to relight that flame! Duties would include organizing and leading our confirmation program (called Pathfinders) on Wednesday evenings, organizing our Sunday School curriculum to assist our volunteer teachers, assisting with organizing and possibly leading mission trips, and substituting for our Lead Pastor. We are looking toward taking a mission trip in the summer of 2024, which would be the first such mission in many years. We are open to sharing this candidate with another church, if needed.
