Pastor of Student Ministries
Are you looking to be a part of a team rather than doing ministry solo in the student ministry “silo”? Would you like to be a part of helping to disciple students prior to when they reach their teenage years and have a chance to speak into their family from your unique perspective as a student pastor? Do you want to not only lead others, but be lead and invested in personally? If these sound exciting, consider applying to be a part of our family team in the role of pastor of student ministries.
Christ Community, a multi-site, intergenerational congregation located in the Kansas City area and a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America, is searching for a student ministries pastor for its Leawood Campus. The Leawood Campus is the original campus for Christ Community (now with five campuses) and currently engages around 800 on Sunday mornings (total attendance at all sites is approximately 2,100 ). The student ministries pastor will lead a team of part-time paid staff and volunteer staff members. They will work alongside the family ministries team and serve as a significant member of the campus pastoral team. They will work with the student pastors from other campuses on multisite planning and they will be given church-wide leadership opportunities. If you are one who possesses a passion for students (6th-12th grades), loves working on a team, and is one who is devoted to the discipleship and interaction with students, parents, and families, please visit our website for a full position description and application process.
