Religion and Babies

As people who think about youth culture I found this presentation fascinating.

The number of babies per woman decreases when:

Children survive (decreased mortality rate)
Many children are not needed for work (child labor laws, children in school)
Women get education and join the labor force
Family planning is accessible

What possible positive / negative impact could this have on youth ministry?
